Happy Birthday Joseph!

I am a little late at posting this, but oh well. On March 16, 2009, my first born baby boy turned 5! It is so crazy, It seems like not long ago I was in the hospital with him. He used to take naps with me everyday and always wanted to hang out with mommy. When he was about 2, he would get so mad at his dad, if his dad tried to hug me or hold my hand, he didn't want ANYONE, especially another guy touching HIS mommy. Now he is always busy playing X-Box, listening to my Ipod or just playing on the computer. He just grew up too fast.
So, for his birthday, his cousins, and some friends went to the zoo. Joseph has loved the zoo ever since he was little. He loves the lions!!! We were at the zoo for about 2 hours, and then we left right as it started to get warm. We had so much fun, though it was a little crazy and stressful trying to keep track of all of the little people! After the zoo, we went to Peter Piper for lunch! The kids got to play and run around. Joseph opened presents and blew out the candles on his Incredible Hulk cake! After the cake we did presents, unfortunately I forgot the presents we got him, so once we got home, he got to open them. He got a lot of race cars, an Indiana Jones whip, Ninja Turtles, and a Bunny Rabbit! He was so excited for the rabbit. She is still not very comfy with people holding her, but we are getting her used to it. We let her out of her cage every now and then to run around the back yard and eat the grass! Well it was a really fun day for all who went. Oh and by the way, we are expecting, we will keep you all updated!!!

Since January.....

Alot has happened!!! Sorry, I am a sucky blogger! Anyways, let's see..... The 2nd week in February, the kids and I flew to Texas to visit my family. So Tony and I spent Valentine's Day apart, but it doesn't really matter because he had to work so we couldn't do anything anyways. So on Valentine's, my sister and I went to the movies. Then while we were down there, mom and dad took us to the glass bottom boats! It was so cool, the kids loved seeing the fish swim underneath us! We just hung out the rest of the time, it got really cold and I hate going out in the cold!!! Anyways, we came home on like the 16th, and I will NEVER fly with all three kids by myself again!!! It was horrible! It wouldn't have been so bad if my plane wasn't delayed like 10 times, but it sucked because Mikey just wanted to get on the plane and we couldn't. So by the time we got home from the airport it was like midnight. Antonio had planned this whole Valentines Celebration for the kids and I, so we did it anyways, the whole house was decorated I couldn't let it all go to waste!!! There were rose petals all throughout the house, I got 2 dozen red roses, some daisies, chocolates, cookies, sparkling cider, stuffed animals, and a docking station for my Ipod!!! The kids got cookies, little chocolates, and a heart pinata! Oh and Joseph got a video game!!! They loved it!!! It was the best Valentine's surprise EVER!!!
So after Valentine's, I have just been working alot and so has Tony. The kids are all in school, including Mikey! They love it, and it gives me some time without the kids, so much easier to do my work when I don't have them running in my office constantly! LOL! Our schedule is so busy, lets see. Monday's Mike has Speech Therapy. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have school. Thursdays Joseph has Ice Skating lessons to prep him for hockey. Channing will be starting Cheerleading and Gymnastics this month. Michael will be starting Occupational therapy soon. We have a ton of stuff going on. I have no time to do anything anymore!!! I have about a million alarms on my phone for all my events. My house is always messy now. But that is changing this Saturday!!! I hired a landscaper and a housekeeper!!! YAY!!! They start on Saturday. I know, I know, my mom would tell me I am ridiculus, and maybe I am, but I just feel like I don't have the time to clean anymore!!! Soon enough I will slow down and make time for these things, but right now I have to be committed for what I have signed up for!!! Well, that is pretty much it for now. Joseph's birthday is this Monday! So hopefully I will write then!!!

House

So.....I know that we have lived in our new house for about 3 months and I have yet to put pics up. So here they are!!!

Time just goes by too fast!

So.... I know I haven't written in a long time, so here is what's new. My baby had his 3rd birthday on the first Saturday of January! He had so much fun!!! His birthday was a Thomas, Curious George, and Wall-E themed party, courtesy of Party City not having all matching decorations, but Mike loves all of them so he was totally psyched to have his FAVORITES!!! We did it at our house and Mike absolutely LOVED the Wall-E cake. We ended up doing the cake first because once he saw it, he just had to blow out the candle and take Wall-E and Eve off of it. We ordered a 6 ft sub and had chips and soda. After the eating was all done, we went out back for the traditional pinata!!! It was Mickey Mouse from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Mike didn't want to hit it, he just wanted to hug it!!! Overall, it was probably the best party he has EVER had!!!
On January 10th, Channing lost her first tooth!!! YAY!!! The Tooth Fairy came and she was soooo excited, she wanted to take her money to school and buy her own lunch rather than take one. LOL!!!
Then on January 12th, Joseph lost his first tooth! YAY!!! It's actually kind of sad, because Joseph is just 4 and he is still a baby to me! He it just a reminder of how fast time actually does go by!!! He too got money from the Tooth Fairy, but he was somewhat confused as to why the tooth fairy gave him money!!! Joseph put his in his piggy bank! The funny thing is that they both lost the same tooth!!!
Yesterday Tony called and let me know that his days off are changing to Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This will be so GREAT, because now I will have someone to help me take Mikey to all of his appointments. Everyday he has an appointment for something, I am not exaggerating! It is CRAZY!!!
As for me, everything is still the same here. Working all the time, doing homework, and being a wife and mommy!!! I have tons of pictures from the birthday to post, and I will post them soon!!! Oh and by the way, we are free and clear to try for another baby!!! YAY!!! We can't wait, Joseph insists we are having a girl this time, not pregnant yet, that I know of anyway, but we will let you all know!!!

Christmas!!!

For Christmas this year, we stayed home. It was our first Christmas together as a family, so that was exciting. We originally thought it would be fun to go to Cali to visit Tony's family, however that didn't work out, plus Tony had to work on Christmas day, soooo... we just stayed home!
Christmas Eve, my brother, his wife, and kids, came over for movies, and treats! We watched Step-Brothers, and The Bad News Bears, and then played X-Box 360. When it was almost bedtime, we sat the kids down to read a Christmas story, then they each opened one present. Before my brother left, I pulled out the laptop and began tracking santa so the kids could see where he was! It was really neat, and the kids really enjoyed seeing santa flying over the ocean.
On Christmas day, Tony woke us up at 3:15 so that we could open presents before he had to leave. We must have been good, because Santa brought us some really awesome gifts, and everyone got just what they wanted.
After opening the presents, we all went back to bed, while Tony went to work. After Tony got home, we went to my ex-husband's sisters house for Christmas dinner. I know it is weird, but they invited us, and since we have no family out here besides my brother, we gladly accepted!!!
After dinner, we went to go see a movie, a family tradition that we have done since I was little. We saw bedtime stories, with Adam Sandler. It was hilarious!
All in all it was the best first Christmas I could have asked for.
Hope you all have a Happy New Year!!!

Update

First off, just want to say Merry Christmas!!! Hope everyone had an AWESOME one, I know we did!!! SO....I know it has been a couple months since I have updated our blog so, I will just fill you in on what has happened.
We are all moved into our new home. We absolutely love it!!! Our room is plum and peach. The boys room is green. Channing's room is purple, and my office is red!!! The red goes great with my Edward posters!!! The house is pretty much done, with the exception of a few wall hangings. Since Tony and my best friend Tarah think I am not so good at decorating, they both did the pictures!!! It looks great!
I started working again, for my ex husband's family's pediatric practice. It is nice because I get to work from home or take the kids with me when I go out there to the office. I am also going to school full time to get my Bachelor's in paralegal studies. After I am done with that, I will continue my education to be a family law attorney!
Antonio is doing well, still working down in intake at the 4th Ave Jail. He is now on first shift, so he goes in at 5 a.m. and gets off at 3 p.m. He works 4, 10 hour shifts, so it is nice having him home 3 days a week!
Joseph and Channing are on school break. They start back on January 5th! They are loving being at home, and NO HOMEWORK!
Little Mikey is doing well. He has speech therapy every Thursday. He has 5 different evaluations scheduled in January, so it will be a busy month. He goes to the neurological psychologist, DDD, SARCC, and an evaluation with the school district for preschool! He will begin school in February, and it's free!!! YAY! I have to pay for Joseph, so it is nice that Mike will be free.
Our little family is doing wonderfully and we hope you all are too!!!

Messy, messy, messy and I am going CRAZY!

My daily routine as a stay at home mom is: wake up, get the kids dressed for school, drop them off at school, go home clean up, take a nap, pick up Joseph, make lunch, clean up, help Joseph with his homework, pick up Channing, help her with her homework, make dinner, clean up, get the kids all bathed and clean and ready for bed, clean up again, oh and take care of Mikey all day.
So as you can see, I clean up constantly through out the day, a trait I must have gotten from my mom, so my house is ALWAYS clean! However, due to the events of the past couple weeks or so, I have been bed ridden and unable to do anything. My husband promised to take care of everything, since he has taken off to help me, but I have learned that unless he is working out side, or playing with his toys, he can not do anything unless he is directed. Don't get me wrong, I love him, I just didn't realize when women said their husbands were like children, that they were serious!
So.......it's 9:15 at night, and the house is a wreck, I just can't stand it anymore! Despite what my doctor told me, I just had to get up and clean a little bit. I started putting the dirty clothes in piles, all of the trash in a pile, and put the million stack of dishes in a more orderly fashion to get cleaned up. I then instructed my sweet husband on what to do with the clothes, what to do with the trash, and I told him to leave the kitchen alone, I will handle that one!
Then after all is done, we will be able to pack everything in a cleaner environment! Soon enough, we will be in our new home, and I will be able to keep things clean again!
